To be fair from a footballing standpoint I can understand wanting to get the wedding and honeymoon out of the way before the World Cup starts.

In the old days, they would have moved the Cup Final to make up for this oversight.
In 1497, they built an archway in the walls of York Abbey to avoid inconveniencing the royals. "This where I want to come in"
Admittedly, in those days, there wasn't a Cup Final to shift.

This President of the FA .... seems very young and as far as I know has never held any administrative position with a football club.
And his only qualification is a degree in Hanging Paintings & Flower Arrangement or some such.
Whats the story?
Am guessing the Saturday wedding is to shut down calls for a public holiday.
